# What You Need:

→ Tuna Salad

01 - 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
02 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
03 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
04 - 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon red onion, finely chopped
06 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ Sandwich

08 - 4 slices sandwich bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
09 - 4 slices cheddar cheese
10 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

# Steps:

01 - Combine drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, chopped celery, red onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl; mix thoroughly.
02 - Arrange bread slices; spread tuna salad evenly over two slices and top each with two slices of cheddar cheese.
03 - Cover with remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
04 - Spread softened butter on the outside of each bread slice (one side per slice).
05 - Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
06 - Place sandwiches buttered side down on the skillet; cook 3 to 4 minutes, pressing gently, until golden brown.
07 - Flip sandwiches and cook the other side for an additional 3 to 4 minutes until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
08 - Remove sandwiches from skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
